Morocco Yoga Retreat 🇲🇦 - Paradis Plage 2026 ☀️

At the end of the month (25th March), Laura, Lyn, myself and a gang of mischief makers are off on our annual Morocco retreat 🇲🇦

I remember telling Laura there was something magical and spiritual about sitting on a beach in Africa. Where life is more simplistic and despite not having the luxuries we do, the Moroccans always smile and appear happy. My heart always takes me back to Morocco - even after experiencing the luxuries of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Spain and more.

Nothing feels better to me than sitting on a beach in Morocco, watching Zaccy play in the sand as women in hijabs play football 😮 - a sight you would not see anywhere else in the world. I remember taking a video and showing my mum, who said her jaw dropped.

What a beautiful culture ❤️

So even though I always felt it was magical, I didn't really know why or how to explain it. Why Morocco? 🤔 I thought perhaps it was because the first humans came from Africa, and it felt spiritual and surreal to be back on the sand where human life first started. To follow in the footsteps of our ancestors 👣 - who, I appreciate, were not doing partner yoga on the beach as we would be, but it makes me wonder what they were doing.

For a moment, it takes me to a place far removed from the hustle of everyday life and running a yoga business.
