Why do so many beginners start yoga and then disappear? šŸ¤”

Why do so many beginners start yoga… and quietly quit weeks later?

Ā

Here is my latest Instagram Reel.

Ā

It’s not the poses. It’s the missing crystal ball šŸ”®

Ā

We need to know the ā€œafterā€ is worth it. So I asked ChatGPT what actually happens if you just keep showing up - one gentle class a week - for the next couple of years.

Ā

The answer was so clear and "un-fluffy"Ā I saved it: (Ai loves a bit of fluff).

↓ resting heart rate & blood pressure goes down šŸ’–

↓ chronic stress, anxiety, inflammation all go down šŸ˜–

↑ deeper sleep, mood stability, and better memory 😓

↑ pain-free back, calmer nervous system, higher resilience (all measurable, all cumulative, all from ā€œjust one class a weekā€) 🧠

Ā

Lao Tzu was right: Nature never rushes, yet everything is accomplished.

Ā

You’ve already done the hardest part. You started once. Some of you even survived 4 weeks with me in the beginners course. The rest is just keeping the promise to your future self, quieter, stronger self.

Ā

One class this week. That’s all the crystal ball is asking for.

Your mat’s waiting. Just come back when you’re ready šŸ™šŸ¾

Ā

I won't ask where you have been. Just nervously walk past me like everyone else does šŸ˜
