How much does a 200-hour yoga teacher training cost in the UK?

UK prices typically range from around £2,600 to £4,250 or more, depending on the school, whether it's in-person or online, and what's included beyond the core tuition (studio access, manuals, mentorship, extra courses).

Is a 200-hour YTT enough to start teaching?

Yes — 200 hours is the internationally recognised baseline (via Yoga Alliance) to teach at studios, gyms, and community classes. Many teachers continue with further CPD or a 300-hour advanced training later on.

What should be included in a 200-hour teacher training price?

At minimum: enough supervised practice teaching to build real confidence, course manuals, and clarity on what happens if you finish but don't feel ready. Extras like studio membership or bonus online courses are a sign the school is offering value beyond just the certificate.
